Math
Please follow the attached link to access summer assignments for students’ math classes.
Although the completion of these assignments is not mandatory, it is a great opportunity for students to practice the most important math skills from this past year and stay sharp for the upcoming school year! Each assignment can be accessed electronically and is broken into parts with a suggested due date for each part. If you have any questions, please reach out to the teacher listed on the summer assignment you’d like to know more about.
ELA
This summer we are asking students to read two texts.
Middle school students are asked to write an expository book report on one of their selected choice texts.
High school students are asked to reflect, write, discuss and prepare for a seminar discussion in ELA and History courses the first week of the new school year.
Students will receive two summer reading books before the last day of school. Incoming 6th grade students will have the opportunity to select a text of choice when picking up other school supplies at 885 River Street, June 27 - July 29, between the hours of 9am and 6pm, Monday - Friday. '
Please plan to bring summer reading books to school on our first day, August 30th.
