Introducing Meekerley Sanon, Boston Prep's next Executive Director!

Dear Boston Prep Community,

We are delighted to announce that the Board of Trustees has unanimously approved Meekerley Sanon as Boston Prep’s next Executive Director. This announcement is the culmination of a robust search, which included over 100 applicants from around the country. Boston Prep community members - including students, families, faculty, staff and Trustees - participated in all stages of this process, from defining the core attributes of a successful Boston Prep leader, which lead to the creation of the job description, to interviewing the finalists. With the community’s insight, we were able to select an inspirational leader who is aligned with Boston Prep’s mission and vision and will lead us into the future. After meeting with Meekerley during the interview process, community members shared that she:

- “has a deep knowledge of instruction, and its overlap with [social emotional learning] and anti-racism.” Teacher

- “has a great and ambitious vision for Boston Prep; she is also from an immigrant family and is bilingual.” Parent

- “[is a] very relatable person and she had an instant connection with the students.” Student
