Boston Prep is a tuition-free, public school, and students are admitted by random lottery. We accept applications from students entering grades 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. We do not discriminate and encourage all residents of Boston, including students with special needs and English Language Learners, to submit a lottery application. Boston Prep is an outstanding school and will provide your child the foundation necessary to ensure success in college and beyond.
The information gathered on the application is used to determine enrollment eligibility and to gather general information. Boston Prep does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, special needs, English language proficiency, athletic ability, or academic achievement.
Boston Prep abides by the state McKinney Vento Act, which states homeless students or children who have lost their housing have the right to immediate enrollment in school even if they do not have the documentation usually required to enroll.
