Boston Prep is a free, charter public school preparing students to succeed in college and to engage in lifelong ethical growth.
We are hiring! Take a look at a handful of our available opportunities below.
Boston Prep is committed to ensuring that all of its programs and facilities are accessible to all members of the public. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.
At Boston Prep, we acknowledge barriers to opportunities that exist within the job-seeking market. Many potential candidates shy away from applying due to a lack of confidence in their skills and “imposter syndrome.” As we do our part to dismantle these barriers within our own recruitment processes, we encourage candidates from all walks of life, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, to apply and make positive changes within the lives of our students.
STEP 1:
SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Interested and qualified candidates should review all job postings and select a role of interest. The candidate can apply for more than one position.
STEP 2:
INITIAL SCREENING
A screening interview via Zoom or phone call is a part of the job selection process used by employers to determine if a candidate has the qualifications necessary to do the job for which the company is hiring.
STEP 3:
IN PERSON INTERVIEW
The interview is conducted in-person by our school leadership team. Depending on the role, the interview will include classroom observations, live demo lesson/performance tasks, teacher panels, and a debrief with the School Principal and Hiring Manager(s).
STEP 4:
REFERENCE CHECK
At this point in the interview process, we will request three references —A current supervisor, a previous supervisor, and a colleague or former colleague. Recent college graduates should request at least one reference from a professor.
