I. COVID Testing

At Boston Prep, health and safety is our number one priority.  We ask for your help, as families, in a few ways.

Keep your child home if they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19.  If you believe your child is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please immediately contact our nurses, Ms. Golafaie, Ms. Etheart and Ms. Fenoglietto, at nurses@bostonprep.org.  Our nurses will partner with you to determine whether your child must remain home from school and for how long.

If you have not yet registered your child for our FREE COVID testing program, please do so now!

II. Traffic Issues

During arrival and dismissal, parking on River Street causes traffic and safety issues. Please do not pick up or drop off your student on River Street unless you are in a designated street parking. We ask that families pull into the bus loop or find associated street parking. Additionally, please make sure to use the crosswalks when crossing River Street, and do not cross near the entrance to the bus loop. It is a blind turn, and can be dangerous. The crosswalk was designed to be in the safest possible location, and is supported by our amazing crossing guard, Ms. Edna Humphrey. We have staff members positioned throughout the bus loop; make sure to look to them for directions. We know that pick up and drop off is difficult with the smaller loop this year, therefore, we appreciate your help in making this process as smooth and safe as possible.

III. Dismissal Updates

  • Helping Hands November in the Middle School

In the month of November our focus will be encouraging students to give back to the community. Community service is one of the best ways to help benefit the public or give back to our community. It does not only have positive effects on society, but it will bring benefits to our lives and personal development.A canned food drive will begin from November 1st to November 19th to help families in need for the upcoming winter. Each Classroom will have a container for donations. The Classroom in each grade level that collects the most will get a surprise. Click Here for the November calendar. For additional information on the can drive, reach out to: Tnora@bostonprep.org

  • Middle School Family Fall Festival

We would like to invite you to our Middle School Family Fall Festival and Open House on Saturday, November 6th from 11:00am-1:00pm. Please come to meet your student’s teachers and stay to enjoy snacks, outdoor games and activities. We will also have a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for our Middle School students. You will also get a chance to meet the teachers in person and learn more about our school. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership. You don’t want to miss it!
